MVCAC Legislative Advocate Ralph Heim shared that the Assembly has passed the State Budget and trailer bills and has adjourned.
One item which may be of interest is that both the Senate and Assembly have passed the two-bill package on redevelopment agencies, ABX1 26 with a 51 to 23 vote, and ABX1 27 with a 47 to 28 vote. ABX1 26 abolishes redevelopment agencies; ABX1 27 allows redevelopment agencies to remain in existence under specific circumstances, the details of which will follow tomorrow.
