Upcoming call for California invasive species grant proposals

The Invasive Species Council of California will be releasing a request for grant proposals funded by the Proposition 4 Climate Bond. The purpose of this grant program is to support work on minimizing the ecological, economic, and human health impacts caused by invasive species. The request will be open to a wide variety of applicants with preference for projects that restore and protect biodiversity and ecosystem health, priority for projects increasing regional or statewide programmatic capacity, and priority for projects that provide direct and meaningful benefits to disadvantaged communities. The call for proposals is scheduled to be released in late summer or early fall with a draft version available online (https://www.iscc.ca.gov/docs/cisac_iscc_website_prop_4_grant_guidelines.pdf) along with more information here: https://www.iscc.ca.gov/climate-bond-funding.html.
