Description: A US based position to manage the Valent BioSciences’ Public Health portfolio of business in the US, Mexico, and Canada. Responsible for managing the regional field technical sales force including staff development, evaluation, and performance. Coordinate and lead development of annual regional business plans. Develop and manage the expense budget. Identify and respond to government tenders. Identify and develop distribution agreements with appropriate partners. Coordinate with VBC Development and Marketing staff to prioritize VBC activities that meet company expectations for sales and profit. Maintain strong understanding of technology/biotechnology of products in the Public Health market. Establish strong relationships with key accounts, opinion leaders, channel partners and other stakeholders. Understand and convey the VBC Public Health and value proposition to protect human potential throughout the stakeholder value chain. Work well in a matrix environment with R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Regulatory, Finance and IT.
