COVID Protocol For Conference Has Been Established
For anyone attending the 2022 MVCAC Conference the board has asked that each attendee show proof of vaccination* OR obtain a negative PCR test within 72 hours OR a negative rapid test 24 hours prior to the start of programming and provide proof of negativity to MVCAC. As always, the conference will be following any city/county or CDPH requirements that may be set in place at the time of the meeting as well.
*Fully vaccinated is as defined currently by the CDC

Here are the enhanced safety measures we will be doing as part of the conference and providing the safest possible event. Please note: Sacramento County has a mandate on masks indoors.
  • Sanitizer stations will be set up in ballroom area by the center
  • Additional sanitizer will be at registration, at the speaker upload table, and at the podium in the room for speakers
  • Microphone covers will be provided to be removed between speakers
  • Sanitizing wipes and spray at the podium for speakers to use
  • Seating will be 3’ distanced in the rooms
  • The Sacramento Convention Center is GBAC certified. This is a certification many facilities are adhering to for increased protection https://gbac.issa.com/gbac-star-facility-accreditation/
  • Additional information on what the Convention Center is doing for protocols is found here as well: https://safecreditunionconventioncenter.com/Safety
  • For the closing “banquet” we are again social distancing, we will offer food in stations and not served and the ceiling height is over 14’ in the ballroom.  We will have plenty of space for people to fit the comfort they have with attending this experience (including seating in the foyer which is open air)

Another method we will be utilizing is the “good, okay or nope!” system of dots.  Attendees can put a green, yellow or red dot on their name badge to show everyone their level of comfort in closer quarters (or with hugs etc).
