Biologist (Vector-Borne Disease), Heluna Health/CDPH

Description: Heluna Health (HH) and the Vector-Borne Disease Section (VBDS) of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) are recruiting for the position of a Biologist for the National Park Service, Vector-Borne Disease Project.

The Biologist position is a contract position responsible for working with Vector-Borne Disease Section (VBDS) Public Health Biologists to conduct prevention, surveillance, and control of vector-borne diseases in Yosemite and Lassen Volcanic National Parks and other regions in California. Work will be performed under the supervision of the Supervising Public Health Biologist, VBDS Northern Region, Elk Grove, California. Duties performed will help reduce the risk of vector-borne disease transmission to California residents, visitors, and employees of the National Park Service.

Salary range is $32-$34/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
